About Me
in 2000 at the age of 12 I started my career into natural crafts by building living willow structures.
after nearly 23 years of experience and exploration into traditional green woodworking, coppicing crafts and willow weaving with extensive basketry skills
My Material choices
When planning a project I make my choices and plan according to the aesthetics and moral standing of materials and the processes used. Choosing coppice regrowing materials for many of the projects I have produced as well as the ones I'm planning that also can utilize the material strengths and the benefits that they possess utilizes a medium that meets the moral obligation that all creators bear.
in addition I use reclaimed or rescued materials and aim to only create using materials that recycle or compost and do not leave waste when disposed off.
My Inspiration
I am inspired to bring the natural world into the home, drawing on the primal comfort of forests and the playful way light pases through the branches as the day drifts on .
I believe great comfort can be added to a space by integrating nature into modern living and keep us grounded in reality
